I got my helix on my right ear pierced by Jordan on October 23, 2020.I originally booked an appointment for a septum piercing, however, upon inspection, Jordan discovered that my septum was slightly deviated and that this could result in the piercing being crooked and healing improperly. So I ended up doing a helix instead.Jordan explained the procedure step by step which was helpful, and there were no surprises. It was a bit more painful than a lobe piercing because the helix is cartilage but not too bad. Jordan was very thorough in going over the aftercare instructions as well. I chose a simple stud with gem from NeoMetal that is very pretty. They had a variety of jewelry options. The price for the piercing worked out to $120 with the jewelry that I chose (the shop fee was around $40 and the rest was the jewelry). The shop is cash only!The healing process has been going fantastic so far. There has been no pain, redness, swelling or bleeding, and I am very impressed, especially with a cartilage piercing.I really love the look of my new piercing and looking forward to adding a hoop eventually once it heals.

Got my ear pierced here this week and it was super awesome!! Iain was very friendly and funny, which made the experience much more comfortable. The shop was very clean, as was the actual process, and he always made it very clear what he was doing and why. It was all very professional. I also got lots of information on how to care for my piercing after the fact. I will definitely be returning here for future piercings!! :)

Never, ever, again. I find JP the one doing piercings extremely unprofessional. First he called me the morning of the appointment to change it because a friend of his came to town. Then he charged me more than was quoted over the phone. It cost me $220 to get my teen's ears pierced with a set of modest titanium studs. I paid just over $100 for the same thing at Metamorphosis for my other kid a month later. The person at Metamorphosis was floored when I told them how much JP charged me. If it weren't for him cleaning the tools in front of me and doing a good job explaining the process and aftercare I would have walked right out of there because the dude looked like he was in rough shape. He was sweaty, shaky, and just overall just sloppy looking. I thought I was over reacting but even my teen noticed and mentioned how uncomfortable they felt after we left. I'm never going back there.

Absolutely outstanding place. The people are kind and experienced, are extremely genuine and accommodating. I got a tattoo done with Mel and it was the best tattoo experience I've ever had. She was incredibly precise and careful, and gentle. I'm absolutely obsessed with my piece and am already planning to go back for more. I cannot recommend this place more. The talent in that building is amazing.

My daughter got her first tattoo with Ty. He was amazing. So encouraging and willing to explain the whole process with her. He was very professional. Everyone in the shop was very nice. It's nice working with someone who enjoys what they do. She came in with her own design, he made a few modifications for it to work long term. Would highly recommend Ty.

I am very happy with Iron Lotus. Karsten is very good and careful when he is doing my piercings. He is very patient with me and makes sure I am happy with the results. I would recommend him. They have a nice display of jewelery as well. It is quite expensive getting piercings because you have to pay for the piercing itself, the jewelery, and tax on top of that but I think that other shops would be much the same though. I will go back for more piercings in the future.
